Membership in AXIS Healthcare doesn’t only benefit the member. There are numerous benefits to providers as well:
- Providers and members have one number to call for authorizations of services, general questions or specific questions about accessing systems, and trouble-shooting issues.
- AXIS coordinators serve as a bridge to providers assisting with member education, problem solving and providing general support to our members.
- Our goal is improved communication between the member, their physicians, and providers who are working together to get the best possible outcome for the member focusing on preventive care and positive health outcomes.
- AXIS coordinators can attend medical visits, team meetings, etc. with individuals who have complex medical, cognitive or communications issues, to be a second set of ears and eyes and support the member in their follow through.
- AXIS members have a one-on-one relationship with their AXIS Healthcare Core Team. Our program takes a proactive, creative and wholistic approach to meet the needs of our members.
AXIS facilitates a timely turnaround time for service authorizations and payments for durable medical equipment.
